I have been making content for years, and the same thing was always true: editing is the part that eats the time. Filming is the fun part and ideas are cheap, but turning raw footage into something worth posting is slow, repetitive work.

As agentic AI and modern language models got genuinely capable, it became clear to me that the next phase of editing is agentic: software that can take on the repetitive editing work itself. So I set out to build it.

It has been a long road and many iterations. The focus has been on making the core video editor genuinely good first, the timeline, the fundamentals, the feel, before layering the AI on top. A great AI editor has to be a great editor underneath.
